The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

Number 4:24-26

Pike County Christian School strives to provide superior Christian education consistent with Biblical principles. We partner with families and churches to equip students for a lifetime pursuit of excellence and integrity under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Within a safe, loving, and enriching environment, students will discover their individual gifts and talents; develop intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and physically; and impact the world through their leadership, integrity, and Biblical worldview. The Word of God is taught, giving is part of life, and being rooted in Christ is the answer.

Christian Education

Raising up Champions for Christ

The mission of PCCS is to assist Christian parents in equipping students with a Christ-centered education, empowering them to impact the world for the glory of God. The greatest desire of dedicated Christian parents is to see their children and grandchildren succeed in life. The Bible tells us to train up a child in the way they should go. A Christian education gives our students a strong foundation in a world of shifting values and morals. A Christian education is the most valuable gift that we can give our children. Through the guidance of Christian parents and teachers, children will grow up to be mature productive Christians. PCCS strives to give a Christian worldview which will make a positive difference. A foundation in God prepares students for a successful tomorrow. Our American heritage is prayerfully taught with integrity. In addition to student tuition, PCCS is a ministry that is supported in part by loving individuals and churches whose hearts have been touched by the Holy Spirit to  become involved.  Thank you for your kind participation in what God is accomplishing!

Field Trip News- On Friday, February 9th, PCCS staff and students went on a field trip. The cost of the trip was covered by the generosity of faithful PCCS supporters. Our first stop was at the Bowling Green Hope Center. Students were engage in learning about the mission work in their local community and reaching out to those in need. Barbara Henderson shared how the Hope Center distributes food, clothing, and other neede resources to families in need. They are open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Thank you, Barbra, and the many volunteers who make the Hope Center possible. May God bless you all. Next, we stopped at the Bowling Green Court House. The Courthouse, was built in 1917, is located centrally on the town square on West Main Street. The courthouse building is constructed of Bedford stone and trimmed in Carthage marble. The interior retains much of the atmosphere of the period in which it was built. A statue of Champ Clark, Bowling Green's most famous son, is located at the south entrance. Students enjoyed learning about the different offices and input from various personnel. A big thank you to our County Clerk, Treasurer, and Judge for sharing their time with us. Our last stop was at Twin Bowl in Louisiana, MO. Everyone enjoyed pizza and bowling.

Ladies’ Bake Day– The ladies had a blast on the February 16th. Mrs. Jennifer opened up her home for baking. Home-made cookies; peanut butter blossoms, oatmeal, gooey butter, peanut butter and chocolate chip. Home-made cakes; coffee cakes, fabulous carrot cakes, Texas sheet cakes, and more. A big thank you for all your time.

Family Fun Day- On February 17th, PCCS families and friends enjoyed the God’s Extravagant Love, Family Fun Day. It was a chilly, cold day as everyone joined in on the excitement. The families gathered in the game areas. Our prize table was the biggest hit, along with the Jail. Our Sheriff was busy throughout the day making arrests, while individuals waited with anticipation for someone to bail them out. The aroma of the  kitchen caught everyone's attention, home-made sloppy joes, chili, chili dogs, nacho pie, nachos, vegetable soup, and home-made desserts. Our ladies bake day supplied us with scrumptious cookies, and cakes. What a blessing!!! Throughout the day, many checked out our silent auction. PCCS thanks you for your generous support. We love and appreciate you.

We are earnestly praying for 100 people to consider making a faith pledge of $1 (one dollar) a day to be used to: provide for the expenses of the day to day operations of the  school, insure that students’ tuition be kept at a minimum, and insure a firm footing for the school’s financial future!

The ministry of this school is built on the principle of  faith just like the centurion whose faith caused Jesus to marvel as recorded in  the Gospel of Luke, Chapter seven. For more information, call our school at 573-324-2700.
